Restore Your Finish

Paint Correction

Paint correction uses machine polishers to permanently remove a fine layer of clear coat, eliminating swirl marks, light scratches, hazing and oxidation. The result is depth, clarity and an even reflection.

Automatic washes, beach parking and improper drying cause most defects we see on Mid North Coast vehicles. Correction fixes the damage rather than hiding it with fillers.

Correction stages explained

Single-stage polish suits light swirls on newer paint. Multi-stage correction handles moderate to heavy defects. Full restoration is for neglected or heavily oxidised finishes — common on vehicles parked outdoors year-round.

Correction and ceramic coating

Correction is often booked before ceramic coating so the protected finish is flawless. Coating over uncorrected paint permanently locks in swirls — we recommend the right stage based on inspection under proper lighting.

How our paint correction process works

  1. Paint is washed, decontaminated and inspected under dedicated lighting.
  2. We machine polish in stages to remove swirls, hazing and oxidation.
  3. Finishing polish restores clarity and gloss before protection is applied.
  4. Optional ceramic coating locks in the corrected finish for long-term protection.

How long does paint correction take?

Most correction work is a full-day service. Multi-stage and full restoration packages require more time because each stage is inspected before proceeding.
